Just found out that The Wolfsonian at Florida Intl. University is featuring a new exhibit that got my engine all fired up.
"Styled For The Road: The Art of Automobile Design 1908 - 1948" is a new showcase revealing the antique art and design behind our favorite modern day set of wheels. The exhibit will elaborate on the automobile's contribution in shaping modern American culture, it's freedom and aesthetic.
Expect this exhibit to bring you to the social, political, and economic reality of this volatile time characterized by the Roaring Twenties and the Great Depression through the Second World War. The show runs til March 14th, tickets will set adults back $7 and seniors or students with I.D a mere $5.
